Dragon fly Spring

Dragonfly spring

I wanted to use my mouth atomizer on this piece so I developed this small painting in a split complimentary color scheme and after it was finished I sprayed green and pink in various areas to give it that air brush look. Where the colors mingle its still a lovely color leaning toward green brown.

Shanti,

I very much like the effectiveness of the drybrush on the wings in giving them their curved plane. This is so simple, but so difficult to do as effectively as you have done. Nice job!

I have a cake decorator's airbrush set and I love it for texturing beach sand, etc. I don't use it often, but think it is a great tool. Never used a mouth atomizer, but I know those who do and think I would have to get one if I didn't have my airbrush.
