Emerald waters
This painting is 5 inches by 5 inches, watercolor on Illustration Board. $40.00
Emerald waters is the name for obvious reasons. I love the color green and there are so many greens which you can make or buy... that you can really have a great time painting all of them.
If you want to paint this painting: You paint the water first, and remember to leave a space for the fish. I used sap green, phathlo green & burnt sienna for the water. I used primary red, orange, indigo, & yellow for the fish. The white is the color of the paper. Paint in the fish last and remember to soften some of the edges so that the water and the body of the fish merge in places to avoid the fish looking like its pasted on.
