Lavender magnolia

This painting was inspired because of a late blooming or confused tulip magnolia tree which I found blooming last week. These trees are usually spring blooming trees and for whatever reason this tree started blooming again in fall. The buds were fewer and smaller but they were definately trying to open. 11 by 15 watercolor on paper

I think this painting could be hung either portrait or landscape since tree limbs grow either way.
